Varietal Records

In 2006, Vineyard Music launched Varietal Records, an artist-driven label which provides a great vehicle for Vineyard artists. The first artist signed to the label, Jeremy Riddle, released his debut project, Full Attention, in March of that year. The launch of that record followed the extremely successful release of Riddle's first single, “Sweetly Broken,” which was the #6 most-played song of 2006 on AC Christian radio, with over 2.5 million impressions.

"The success of Full Attention was a great start for Varietal," explains Casey Corum, Vice President and Chief Creative Officer. "Through this label, we are able to introduce these incredibly talented, humble worship leaders to a much larger audience. The role of Varietal is to blend the best of Vineyard Music's unique tie to the local church with a stable of compelling 'Vineyard Voices' that will bring a fresh new face and sound to the entire Vineyard Music family.”

As Varietal Records has continued to build its roster of artists, the breadth of styles alive within the local church community has become more and more evident. Some artists like Chris Lizotte, Ryan Delmore and Sheri Carr have been in the Vineyard Music family for years. Others are very new, up-and-coming voices that will shape the future of worship music in the Church. Through this unique blend of voices, Varietal hopes to both capture the modern voice of worship and inspire new worship expressions.
