Where born: Champaign, IL Earliest memory: Sitting on the tailgate of our 56 Chevy Nomad station wagon at the beach watching the sun set & eating hotdogs. Family: Husband: Lannis; Son: Michael; Daughter: Candace. Who lives in my house: My husband & son. What I like to do on my day off: Go sailing and ride my bike on the beach. How I chill out: Work on my Hawaiian style quilts. My favorite thing to do: Sailing on Sparrow (a 34' sharpie) or Elcie (a 20' sharpie). If money and time were no object: Build our beach cottage on Christmas Bay, and help build a 40' motor/sail boat. Sail, fish, cook great food & hang out with family & friends. Enjoy the sunrise & sunsets. Favorite past-time: First trip to NYC. What a blast. Walked, rode the subway and ate all the wonderful food. Favorite book: "Mama Makes Up Her Mind" by Bailey White. If I were a cartoon character, I would be: Piglet (from Winnie the Pooh) who is always involved in an adventure. If I could be a famous person for a day it would be: It's a full time job just being myself. Favorite food: Chocolate cloud cake. Favorite place on the planet: Mystic, CT - Mystic Seaport Museum. What a nightmare. Things I wish I had been told (or taught) at school: Auto mechanics. My father did not believe it was proper for a girl, so I took sewing.
